Amlodipine Is Used With Or Without Other Medications To Treat High Blood Pressure. Amlodipine Is Also Used To Prevent Certain Types Of Chest Pain (angina).
How to Use:
Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once daily.
The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
Possible Side Effects: include swelling of the ankles or feet. Other less common side effects are difficult or labored breathing, dizziness, fast irregular/pounding or racing heartbeat or pulse, feeling of warmth, redness of the face, neck, arms, and occasionally, upper chest, shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, wheezing. Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur while taking amlodipine.
