Cooking Guidelines

Cooking Instructions – General: Do not re-heat. We have given you these cooking instructions as a guide only.

Hob – From Ambient: Allow 70g rice per person. Place in a sieve and rinse in cold running water. Add the rice to a pan with 500ml water per 70g rice. Add salt or other seasoning to taste. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 15-18 minutes. Drain in a sieve, rinse with boiling water and serve. Fork through to fluff up.

Microwave – From Ambient: Allow 70g rice per person. Add the rice to a large microwavable bowl with 500ml water per 70g rice. Cover and vent. Cook on full power for 18 minutes (800W). Leave to stand for 2 minutes. Drain and serve. Fork through to fluff up. For microwaves with different outputs, refer to your handbook and adjust the heating times accordingly.

Storage
Store in a cool dry place away from strong odours. Reseal after use.
